HikePing is provided as a trip safety and check-in tool. It helps users share temporary trip details and overdue status with selected contacts.

HikePing is not a replacement for emergency services, rescue coordination, navigation, or local safety guidance. Users and contacts must make their own judgments about risk and escalation.

Users are responsible for the trip information they enter, the contacts they choose, and the share links they distribute.

Because HikePing depends on device batteries, signal, browser permissions, and third-party infrastructure, uninterrupted delivery or perfectly current location information cannot be guaranteed.

We may update or discontinue parts of the service over time.
